Important Notes

Although some courses are offered as "Advanced General Education" (심화교양), they will be reclassified as "Basic General Education" (기초교양) after final grade confirmation.

Students admitted before 2022 are not allowed to newly take or retake IPA courses.

The distinction between “1” and “2” in Korean courses (e.g., Korean Academic Writing 1 & 2) is for class level placement purposes; students do not need to take both.

Example:If a beginner-level student takes bothKorean Academic Writing 1and2,only Writing 1will count as Basic General Education. Writing 2 will be treated as Advanced General Education.

For most majors, IPA courses are automatically registered in the first semester. However,IBE major students are encouraged to register on their own based on their Korean proficiency.

Students who need to retake IPA courses must register independently during course registration.
